Our company spent many years searching for an ethically-farmed, direct supply of paprika. We had no luck until 2020, when we discovered an incredibly high quality and delicious paprika in the Murcia region of Spain. We were also delighted to realize that Spain has amazing citrus products, including orange and lemon, which we now import and sell in dehydrated pieces, perfect for baking!

Gathering Place’s paprika comes from a well-respected and long-standing family business, in the Murcia region of Spain, collectively run by four sisters. The company was founded in 1945 and has been consistently earning business awards and accolades since then. They have grown to be a global supplier of high quality paprika powder by marrying tradition with innovation. The growers who supply their products farm both organically and sustainably, and our trading partner keeps that original purity intact, never supplementing with additives or bulking agents.Their organic smoked paprika is the real deal, authentically and slowly cured over oak for at least two weeks before packaging.

About our Spanish Orange/Lemon partners

We source whole dehydrated orange and lemon from a well-established trade partner in Badajoz, Spain. This pure, delicious fruit is grown by a cooperative of local organic farmers in the region, all of whom are paid fairly for their hard work. Our trade partner cares deeply for the environment, making significant investments in agricultural sustainability and adhering to globally recognized quality and food safety standards. This 40-year-old company also prides itself on retaining talent in rural areas by providing excellent employment opportunities and by giving back to the surrounding community.
